Teucer Wilson was drawn to the arts from an early age, though choosing a specialism proved difficult. After enjoying art at school, a foundation diploma at Bucks College broadened his interests. Textiles, printmaking, graphic design, illustration, and sculpture all appealed equally. Following a period of “being an artist,” he relocated to Weymouth to study Stone Masonry, Architectural Carving and Lettering, discovering a discipline that fused graphic and sculptural elements. He has worked in this field since 1993. After college, he spent five formative years with renowned lettering artist Richard Kindersley before moving to Norfolk in 2000, where he now runs a busy workshop exploring stone and other materials including sandblasted glass, laser-cut steel, and cast iron.
